Other Immigration Visas

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)

If you were under the age of 31 as of June 15, 2012, came to the U.S. before your 16th birthday, and meet other certain requirements, you may be eligible to apply for DACA and receive a work permit and other benefits.

The U.S. government is once again accepting applications for new DACA applicants and renewals.

Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

Certain countries are designated for TPS due to conditions that temporarily prevent the country’s nationals from returning such as: an ongoing armed conflict, an environmental disaster, or other extraordinary and temporary conditions.

U Visa

The U Visa is for victims of certain, qualifying crimes (such as domestic violence) who have been helpful to law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of those crimes. It is a long process but with an approved U Visa, you can eventually qualify for a Green Card.

Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)

If you are or have been the victim of physical or emotional abuse committed by a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident spouse or former spouse, a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident parent, or a U.S. Citizen son or daughter, you may qualify to receive a Green Card under VAWA.
